Workshop: RNAseq via GVL+ degust demo

RNAseq via GVL+ degust demo

Dr Stuart Archer, Monash Bioinfomatics

Stuart Archer comes from an RNA biology background and learnt to run bioinformatics analyses mostly to analyse his own data during his postdoctoral studies. He conducted his first RNA-seq experiment in Heidelberg in 2008, to investigate the cell cycle in on parasitic protozoans, and later back in Australia developed RIP-seq and ribosomal footprinting experimental protocols for yeast, also developing the bioinformatics analysis strategies for these experiments. He joined the Monash Bioinformatics pipeline in 2014 and has since developed custom bioinformatics analyses with biologists conducting a wide range of data-rich experiments, including many RNA-seq experiments
