Poster and Fast Forward Talk competition

Showcase your research and communication skills! We are accepting abstract submissions (max 200 words) for the AMSI BioInfoSummer 2024 Poster and Fast Forward Talk competition.

This is your opportunity to:

  • Share your work with the national bioinformatics community
  • Connect with other researchers, exchange ideas and gain valuable feedback
  • Hone your science communication skills by presenting your research to a broad audience
  • Compete for to $800 in prizes*

Fast Forward Talk session

Each participant will have 90 seconds to pitch their posters and highlight their bioinformatics work during the Fast Forward Talks session on Wednesday 4 December. This fast-paced and engaging format challenges you to distill your research into its key points for a broad audience.

Poster Q&A Session

After the Fast Forward Talks, presenters will stand by their posters during a catered Q&A session, allowing conference participants to engage with and learn more about your research. Prepare a printed poster (size AO or similar) that clearly communicates your work, findings, and significance to be displayed throughout the event.
